WordCamp Boston has been incredible. I was thrilled to give a talk on "Theming and Mobile" with an emphasis on Responsive Web Design. The presentation is sort of a pre-cursor to my full "Responsive Web Design" talk that I'm thrilled and humbled to be giving at WordCamp San Francisco. Here is the description and slides of the talk that I gave yesterday at WC Boston:
Your site is about your content. How do we optimize for all the different devices out there but still keep our brand? Do we even optimize at all? What are different ways we can look at how our content is handled? We are going to take a look at different techniques out there including: responsive web design, media queries, dealing with video, touch, and other various plugins & CSS tricks to truly display your site and your content in the best possible manner in any given scenario.
WordCamp Reno has been a blast so far. All the people here are really awesome. Here are my slides from the presentation I gave on "Typography on the Web." WCReno also recorded all the sessions, I'll post the video from WordCamp TV whenever it goes up.

I cant wait to go next year. The town of Chandler was incredible and all the people there were so awesome and talented. Just being around everyone was so inspiring! Check out other speaker's slides here.
2010 has been an incredible year. It had its ups and downs. some parts were really hard and others just joyous! I've met some incredible people this year and got plugged into a great community that surrounds the very platform that this blog (and my livelihood) is based on: WordPress. Its been quite the journey. I've stumbled into great opportunities that led me to go many places and meet many new friends.

I had the great pleasure of speaking this past weekend at WordCamp Birmingham. It was an incredible day with some incredible speakers! – a practical and applicable focus on how to utilize Typekit with WordPress.

– application on mobile devices (ipad challenges)
– challenging and combating “FOUT” with js
– combating type crunch
– focus on supporting type foundries (no illegal pirating. buy licensing)

At Wordcamp Birmingham 2009, I had the privilege of speaking on WordPress and Your Brand. I have embedded the slides from the talk. I hope that some people were able to learn a bit about "adapting WordPress to fit your brand rather than your brand to WordPress." I absolutely loved Wordcamp and can not wait for the next one.
